Typhoon Pablo Victims Needs YOU

Typhoon Pablo had its landfall in Mindanao, Philippines where hundreds of lives were taken, thousands of families were affected and almost a hundred percent of crops and livelihood where destroyed. This picture above really pains my heart because I am very soon a mother to be and I can't really imagine how it feels to see your child in this condition with so much pain all over the body and is also affected psychologically because of this horrible experience. Me and my family also lives in Mindanao and we were very lucky to just have a light rain shower and a not so strong wind. I made this article in behalf of my family because we believe that in this way, beside prayers, we could tell the world that kids like these who were affected needs YOUR help in prayers as well in donations.

Christmas is very near and some of these kids doesn't know if they will have the spirit of Christmas without their dead family members and destroyed houses. LET'S HELP CHILDREN AND ALSO THEIR FAMILIES TO AT LEAST STILL BELIEVE THAT THERE'S HOPE TO RISE AGAIN, MOVE ON AND LIVE THEIR SECOND LIVES.

You can send your DONATIONS to the following sites of Philippine foundations which has all the access to reach affected areas of the typhoon.

The Best Practices of an Examiner

Of all the professionals existing in the city, it was enough luck to be given a chance to be one of CEM’s examiners.  Being part of that world is somehow a big challenge because speaking in front of different personalities of different ages is a much effort. Heart’s pounding, tremor hands especially the first time, unpredictable troubles from the students especially the kids about ages four to nine, raised eye browses from high school girls,(duh!, they’re not even as good as they think they are anyway), and the best part of everything? Waking up so early in the morning for out of town trips.

These things were not experienced by other professionals and it was my best luck to be part of it for it taught me how to act professionally and most especially, it taught me to understand confidence.

Define confidence. Examiner that is. Heads up, chin up, make ups, nice outfit just like in the corporate world, high heels, tack- ins, belts, nice bags (whoa! They make you look fabulous), the good mornings from the people you pass by, and the best definition? Head Turner….

To be the best examiner that you can be, one should have the courage to fight for whatever fear they have facing people, and one should understand that this job is designed to be part of the future professionals future and without us examiner, these students will be doomed to uncertainty of what fits them best in choosing a career. So how could you not be the best knowing these facts?

A Divorce Letter

This is a re-post.....
I saw this post while surfing my facebook and thought of posting it here in my blog.. Indeed funny.

Dear Wife,

I’m writing you this letter to tell you that I’m leaving you forever. I’ve been a good man to you for 7 years & I have nothing to show for it. These last 2 weeks have been hell. ... Your boss called to tell me that you quit your job today & that was the last straw. Last week, you came home & didn’t even notice I had a new haircut, had cooked your favorite meal & even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers. You ate in 2 minutes, & went straight to sleep after watching all of your soaps. You don’t tell me you love me anymore; you don’t want sex or anything that connects us as husband & wife. Either you’re cheating on me or you don’t love me anymore; whatever the case, I’m gone. Your EX-Husband P.S. don’t try to find me. Your SISTER & I are moving away to West Virginia together! Have a great life!

Dear Ex-Husband,

Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It’s true you & I have been married for 7 years, although a good man is a far cry from what you’ve been. I watch my soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining & griping Too bad that doesn’t work. I DID notice when you got a hair cut last week, but the 1st thing that came to mind was ‘You look just like a girl!’ Since my mother raised me not to say anything if you can’t say something nice, I didn’t comment. And when you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY SISTER, because I stopped eating pork 7 years ago. About those new silk boxers: I turned away from you because the $49.99 price tag was still on them, & I prayed it was a coincidence that my sister had just borrowed $50 from me that morning. After all of this, I still loved you & felt we could work it out. So when I hit the lotto for 10 million dollars, I quit my job & bought us 2 tickets to Jamaica But when I got home you were gone.. Everything happens for a reason, I guess. I hope you have the fulfilling life you always wanted. My lawyer said that the letter you wrote ensures you won’t get a dime from me. So take care. Signed, Your Ex-Wife, Rich As Hell & Free! P.S. I don’t know if I ever told you this, but my sister Carla was born Carl. I hope that’s not a problem...

The Way We Were

Return us to the way we were,
The warmth, the caring, the love.

Return us to a previous time,
A life of simplicity and happiness.

Take us back to the beginning,
Where we saw the best in each other.

 Minimize our annoyances,
And allow us to be giving.

 Accentuate my attributes,
My unique gifts, my loving nature.

 Erase the distance between us,
Melt the discord directed at me.

 Bring us back,
  To those wonderful moments.

 Allow us to recapture,
  The happiness we had.

 Return us,
  To the way we were.
